Consumer Evaluations

For the most portion...just the looks alone are good and clean. It does not appear like a spaceship on the counter.
Nice straightforward straight lines and rather simple on / off / bake / broil / and so on controllers.
There had been later design ovens from this manufacturer, but for the value, and all the Simple Attributes, I figured how can I go incorrect?
With 1800 watts for the total heating components...suitable there that tells you that it is going to heat up rapidly...sustain easily to attain the setpoint, and carry out like a common electric range / oven / broiler but just in a smaller package.
Toast creating is total on both sides. Rapid! And with no drying out of the toast bread.
I was looking for the ability to toast bread, without having the bread sitting there in the oven just drying out on the inside of the bread though the outside was browning. That is the issue with toasters that are Lower Wattage. It is a proven fact in the testing sequence of a toaster developed to do just that....make toast.
The setpoint maintains just that, with not considerably droop in temperature. It is rapid to respond to sustain the setpoint (temperature chosen) to do a fast cooking chore.
The crumb catch tray just slides out very easily for cleaning which is a plus. My old toaster oven had to be turned on its side to flip open the crumb tray. Wow! Those crumbs actually sat in there till they cooked themselves to the tray.
With the slide out simple clean tray...I clean the crumbs each two or three instances I use the oven / toaster! Sensible Design!
The only downside ...and it does not impact the useability of the oven but it is annoying attempting to see the settings plainly stamped in black lettering and numbering but particularly fairly compact. Just a single step UP in the font SIZE would be a significant improvement. I lost my 20 year old wonderful vision some 40 or so years ago, and even with corrective lenses...I have to hold a little magnifying readers glass there just to see the settings of the controls. My 18 Y/O granddaughter who has best 20 /20 vision even has difficulty seeing the setpoints.
All In All....I advocate it highly. The functions and power of this little machine are certainly terrific. It is definetely not in the toy division like some other solutions of the like are in.
I had to give this four stars only given that of the inability to clearly see the setpoints on the controls that are printed so little. That is My Opinion Anyway!

Following a lengthy search, I was unhappy with the selection of toaster ovens in my cost range - my value range becoming as affordable as probable! My old Black Decker toaster oven that I bought at my neighborhood drug store lasted for at least 10 years. I was absolutely pleased with it. The less expensive new ones are not the exact same - they all have that timer dial for toasting with a space of 1cm (or much less) to identify the shade of toast. I just don't like that kind of manage knob.
Anyway... I decided to invest a small significantly more to get what I definitely want, and this Cuisinart has all of the functions that I like - the generous shade control, nicely spaced alternatives on the function and temperature dials, an on/off switch for toasting, and a pull-out crumb tray.
It has two heating components on each bottom and top rated which seem to aid the oven heat up promptly and toast evenly.
Like all toaster ovens I have encountered, the best and back do get hot - the sides not as considerably.
I could not find the correct dimensions of this toaster oven anyplace (even on Cuisinart's web page I do not know where Amazon's "item dimensions" measurement came from) so I'll post the dimensions as I measured them right here:

13" D (That is WITH the "feet" on the back that avoid it from sitting flush against the wall [presumably for security], but With out the handle, which adds 1.75" to the depth)
It is larger than I am implemented to, but undoubtedly not the largest out there.
I am extremely, fairly pleased with this toaster oven and am only withholding a star mainly because I've only had it for a handful of days. That fifth star has to be earned!
