Just purchased this yesterday from Bed and Bath. Presently I attempted the toast function. Implemented the light brown setting on some bagels, came out light brown. Subsequent the dark brown setting came out dark brown and not burnt. It functions. As for the rack not becoming attached to the door(this appears to be an issue for some) this oven has two levels for the rack, this suggests you can't have that function. The crumb tray removal is fine, you just require to wait until the oven cools off ahead of removing it. It's also fantastic as baking rack if you wanted to use it as a single. One other trouble with these units is a convection fan that is truly loud. Not this 1. Really quiet. Can't even tell it really is on. The only thing I identified so far that could be a trouble are the metal strips on the door. One particular is suitable behind the manage and is rather quick to touch if your not careful.

We purchesed this oven about a year ago and the bottom heating coil stopped operating following about 6 months. We contacted Hamilton Beach and they sent us a replacement, not for free of charge, but for $ten, I think (my husband delt with them.) As we got the new oven and attempted toasting a piece of bread for the very first time, it turned out that the top rated coils were not operating this time! And this was a brand new oven! I will under no circumstances invest in anything at all else again from Hamilton Beach. This product is a joke!
