Not wonderful for cookies September 7, 2009

I bought this oven to make cookies for my start-up cookie home business, but so far, it really is not been operating very properly. Some cookies are burned and others raw. The instructions say to rotate the pans halfway through -- which is annoying -- but that doesn't genuinely solve the trouble either. On a half-size sheet pan, you can quite often get 4 or 5 rows of cookies and the rows in the middle are raw though the outside rows are dark on the outside edge (closest to the fan in back). Unless you rotated each person cookie, you will not be able to get even browning. I'll preserve attempting, but so far, this has been a major disappointment and waste of a lot of revenue.

I am a devoted dwelling cook and wear out most things that are only created for the usual house use. So when I wanted to replace my smaller convection oven I went to the commercial level.What a jokeI have 6 years of professional kitchen experience and there is no way this would last a week. The temperature wildly fluctuates on the hot side and as mentioned by the above individual this does not cook even which is the whole concept on utilizing a convection oven for pastry. The seals broke inside a month. It gets so hot that it sets off the smoke alarm.I use this for things that don't call for any accuracy, which does not consist of any pastry, breads or (as talked about above) cookies and broiling. Even the rotisserie cooks so hot that it has been difficult to cook even chicken.I could have gotten some thing just as worthless for a whole lot more affordable

Disappointed March eight, 2011

I purchased this oven for our move to Taiwan understanding that ovens are really difficult to discover right here. This was the biggest countertop oven that I could obtain. I knew the Waring name and I felt confident that it would be a really good item. But I have had the very same situation as other people with uneven baking. Most of the time I have to stand by the oven to try to avoid burning. Then the door gasket broke after 6 months of use. I contacted Waring and was informed that I had no warranty given that I took the oven out of the US. What! I didn't anticipate them to fly my oven back to the US but how about a little customer service. I was told that I could: 1. bring the oven back to the US and take it to a service center (attempt to clarify that to the TSA) OR 2. I could Order a replacement gasket. As tactfully as I could I asked that they produce the replacement gasket and offered my US address. Well, they agreed to that but along with that came this terse e mail: "We can send you the door gasket to the ID address.....if anything else takes place with the unit....there would be no warranty." This was a a variety of hundred dollar oven and they had been petty about an $18 gasket! Needless to say, I am not impressed with Waring's item or their customer service. I would hesitate to buy another 1 of their products
